Per i ripescaggi in Legapro il Rimini si può mangiare le mani

Il Consiglio Federale, riunitosi oggi a Roma, ha ufficializzato le tre società che prenderanno il posto nella Legapro Unica di Padova, Viareggio e Nocerina (che ripartirà dall'Eccellenza). Si tratta di Martina Franca, Torres e Aversa Normanna.

Le altre cinque società che avevano presentato domanda (Arzanese, Delta Porto Tolle, Poggibonsi, Akragas e Correggese) sono state "bocciate". Le tre ripescate nell'ultimo campionato hanno militato in Seconda Divisione: l'Aversa Normanna era stata eliminata nella semifinale play out dal Tuttocuoio, la Torres era uscita, sempre in semifinale, per mano del Forlì, mentre il Martina Franca era retrocesso direttamente al termine della regular Season.

Lunedì 4 agosto a Firenze saranno formulati i tre gironi della Legapro Unica, martedì 12 agosto saranno stilati i calendari.

E mentre la Correggese, che aveva vinto i play off di D, ha già annunciato che farà ricorso, affidandosi all'avvocato Grassani, c'è chi si mangia le mani per non aver neanche presentato domanda. E' il caso del Rimini, che oggi avrebbe festeggiato il pronto ritorno in Legapro, e che invece ora la terza serie nazionale se la dovrà conquistare sul campo.

Il presidente della società biancorossa, Fabrizio De Meis, che ha sempre sostenuto che il Rimini non avrebbe aspettato la seconda fase dei ripescaggi per motivi di programmazione, ribadisce il concetto, pur non nascondendo la delusione da tifoso.
"Chiaramente da tifoso l'ho presa con forte rammarico perché questo finale a sorpresa lascia l'amaro in bocca - attacca il numero uno del sodalizio biancorosso -. Era non pronosticabile secondo me che si arrivasse alla seconda finestra di ripescaggio, che mettessero cinque società fuori, compresa la Correggese, che ha vinto i play off di D.
Noi abbiamo sempre detto che avevamo fatto la scelta di non partecipare alla seconda finestra di ripescaggio per non trovarci impreparati sia nel caso di ripescaggio che, soprattutto, se avessimo poi dovuto affrontare il campionato di serie D. Non avremmo potuto costruire una squadra così forte, con giocatori che hanno vinto più volte la serie D.

Se ci avessero fatto partecipare alla prima fase sarebbe stata un'altra cosa. Sarebbe stato impossibile fare un mercato per entrambe le categorie, perché in D occorrono gli under mentre in Legapro c'è l'età media di 25 anni. Quindi i giocatori di 32-33 anni che abbiamo firmato avremmo fatto fatica a collocarli".

E' pentito della scelta di non presentare domanda di ripescaggio?
"Da presidente farei la stessa scelta - risponde senza esitazioni De Meis - perché ho ritenuto che dopo lo tsunami di quest'anno sarebbe stato difficilissimo preparare una squadra all'altezza della Legapro Unica o in grado di vincere la serie D. Ha prevalso la scelta di seguire un piano certo. Anche se da tifoso soffro.
Con le informazioni che avevamo all'epoca nessuno poteva sapere chi avrebbe fatto domanda di ripescaggio e che cinque squadre sarebbero poi state bocciate, né che la Correggese, che ha vinto i play off, non avrebbe avuto la deroga per lo stadio. A questo punto mi chiedo che senso abbia fare i play off della D.
Penso che l'elezione di Tavecchio sia stata determinante. Non si sarebbe mai messo contro Macalli".

Che cosa si sente di dire ai tifosi biancorossi in questo momento di grande delusione?
"Ai tifosi mi sento di dire che le cose vanno fatte bene e che preparare una Legapro in 20 giorni ci avrebbe fatto correre il rischio di farla molto male. E retrocedere due volte di fila sarebbe stata una mazzata. Questo però solo i fatti lo diranno.
Noi ci stiamo preparando ad affrontare la categoria che avremmo dovuto fare in base alle indicazioni certe che avevamo. Io sono un tifoso del Rimini, è chiaro che la notizia di oggi ha il sapore di beffa. L'alternativa sarebbe stata aspettare il 1 agosto per iniziare il mercato e sperare nella bocciatura di cinque squadre e nella mancata deroga alla Correggese. Era un azzardo troppo grosso.
Speriamo di vincere il campionato di serie D, di fare quello che ci siamo prefissi dal primo momento e di accedere alla Legapro da vincenti e non da ripescati".
